Apparently he was in Mississippi to settle some political border issues and went for a bear hunt where he saw a wounded bear and asked his guards to kill the bear and relieve him of the misery of pain. This incident alongwith the border settlement made news in cartoons and newspapers and became famous. Even greeting cards come with images of these sweet little bears to add that innocence. Teddy bear miniatures are used for decoration purposes as well. There are various toy shops and people who make these stuffed animal toys but on thing they have to keep in mind is the material and items they use to create the teddy. Since small children and infants also have the fascination for these bears, the materials like eyes, nose and mouth should be used of soft plastic or preferably stuffed material itself and should me tightly placed into the toy to prevent any choking hazards.

These trains were primarily made in Germany but post World War II trains built in Germany lost their popularity. To meet the  still substantial demand for O scale trains in the American markets other manufactures stepped up. Another widely used scale  by railroaders is the 0 gauge. Most people do not know the difference between O scales trains and O gauge trains. The 0 gauge  scale is measured against the size of the tracks that the train will run on. The O scale is measured against the actual  locomotive.
O gauge can be confusing for people who have just gotten started with the hobby. The upside is that you can easily research 0  gauge trains on the internet. You should do your research so that you have a better understanding of the different scales if  you are planning on taking up this hobby.
